What Causes Tissue Like Matter In Menstrual Discharge While On A Contraceptive Pill?

Hi my daughter is 17 now sexually active so I put her on a contraceptive pill, this is her first period since being on the pill, previously to this her periods had been very painful and heavy, today she loss tissue like discharge, skin colour and about 4in long is this anything to worry about.

Hi, I think you should do a urine pregnancy test just to be sure that she is not pregnant. Sometimes pregnancy can happen even on pills. If it's negative, no need to worry about it. Hope I have answered your question.
