Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have numbness in 2nd toe on left foot, for a day. Work upwards of 12 hours a day on feet 3x/wk. No diabetes, bp 120 s/70 s, age 33, pulse 68. no trauma to this foot. do suffer from siatica on and off. is this something to be overly worried about
Your symptoms seem to be related to sciatica. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms. Sciatica is a chronic condition, so it is not something to be overly worried about. If the symptoms continue, I recommend to see a neurologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
