What Causes Toe Numbness When Suffering From Tibia Fracture?
Hi, I have been diagnosed with a pretty serious tibia fracture on my left shine bone. No boot or cast at the moment.I am supposed to just stay off of it. No work for 5 weeks which is hard as I work with children. I fractured it running I think I had it for awhile and the Doctors didn t catch it. I had complained four times of shin splints. I have a bone scan scheduled for this Thursday. Today my middle toe seems to be numb on the top. I thought maybe it was just cold but it hasn t gone away. Any idea if I should call my doctor and let him know this is happening or just wait until Thursday. I am a 48 year old women and have been running for about a year this last year i have lost 45lbs and my last race that put me over the top on this fracture was a 15K. Thanks for your advice.
