What Causes Tongue Acidity, Burning And Tingling Sensations?

suddenly yesterday after lunch i got this weird feeling on my tongue...imagine if you drink coca cola and the acidity of it kind of burns your tongue...like a strange tingling kind of feeling..it feels like that... no amount of brushing my teeth/tongue...gargling makes it get better.. it doesnt hurt..and food doesnt taste any different..its just a strange feeling and kind of worries me...any insight?
