What Causes Tonsil Infection?

hello sir, my son is 2yrs + 8months he has fever from 3days doctor said he has tonsil infection n given total 4 syrups, Augmentin DDS, Rinifol, Ibugesic plus, Emeset. And from childhood he scratches his ear i showed ENT he cleant the wax then has given Candid drops / gentamicin eyes drops. how to go about is the tonsil infection due to this or any other cause. plz help me sir?

Hi....2 years 8 months, getting tonsillitis is quite common and is need not be worried about. This is not related to the ear infection he has got. Cough and cold and tonsillar enlargement are viral, 95% of the times in children. It will get better soon. But if the kid is getting more than 6 times in year, then you need to get them removed.
