What Causes Traces Of Blood And Leukocytes In Urine Test?

Hi, I had a my annual health check at work today by an onsite health advisor. He advised me that I had traces of blood in my urine and something that sounded like lucazoid or lucasides (sorry for not remembering that actual term) which he said could be linked with an infection. Do you happen to know what the name of what he may have found was called and what it could be linked with?

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Yes, it is called as leukocytes. Presence of leukocytes >5/hpf suggests infection.
2. Get an urine examination to look for RBC, leukocytes and any other abnormalities. If leukocytes are present, culture and sensitivity is necessary to start appropriate antibiotic treatment.
3. Meet your doctor to get tested and treated at the earliest. Not to worry.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
