What Causes Traces Of Blood In Stool With History Of Pancreatic Cancer?
I have been on cemotherapy for three month to treat my Pancreas tumer. No side effects I suffer from this treatment. When I use the bath room, I press to get the stool out that comes out very normal, not hard Not soft. for the last three weeks I feel that there is a wound in the entrance that bleeds a little when it comes out. I see it is as line on the sttool. I use Hydrocortisone ectate ointiment and suppository once at night. it helps but it comes back whenever i do not use the bath room for two days. What shall I do to cure this wound in the very lower part of the rectum where the stool get out?.
The symptoms are more likely to be related to hemorrhoids. I suggest to use an anti hemorrhoid cream for local application such as Preparation H. I also suggest to soak in cool water. If the symptoms continue, you should do the colonoscopy to check the source of the hemorrhage.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
