What Causes Trouble For Kid To Count Numbers?

i am savitha, i have 4 yrs old son, he is unable to identify the numbers individually, if u start from 1 to 10 he will tell without interuption, if i show my fingures to count he will tell the answer, when i show him numbers individually he is unable to findout, if i give him to write no 2 whole page, he will write and tell, once i turned page then i ask him to show the same number, he is unable to findout, please suggest me how to go about

I went through your details. Please remember your son is just 4 years. At this age, numerical ability will be at the developmental platform. Reasoning abilities develop only after 7. But training can alter the way things go. Also note that at this children learn when they play. Don't make them sit in front of books continuously more than 30 minutes. Let them play then you teach. Use of abacus methods. building blocks with numbers etc can help you immensely.
