Hello, Dr. Rynne. My husband is 65, and having trouble urinating. He says the stream is slightly orange in color. He s had rapid, shallow breathing for at least 4 days. He has diarrhea, and stiffness in his joints. We have a dr. appointment in 2 hours. Do you have a sense of what his diagnosis might be? I m so worried.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. He has urinary tract infection or prostatitis. He may also have benign prostatic hyperplasia. It causes difficulty in urination. He should go for ultrasound abdomen, PSA level and urine examination. Then he should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health
