What Causes Umbilicus Infection, Pain With Breathlessness?
Hi i have had previous surgery (removal of overies and tubes but were trapped down to my bowel. the surgery was laproscopic and my belly button looks like it has infection, I have developed pain to my lower right side, so i went to my gp today who has put me on antibiotics for both, I suffer from diviticulitis which has just been diagnosed from a scan. the question i want to ask is i am feeling out of breath with the pain and the pain is worse than this morning how servier do i let it get before I scream for help?

Breathing difficulty may not be due to surgery that you had gone or the diverticulitis. You have not mentioned as where exactly you are having the pain.
All the conditions that you are having are not related with each other and it has nothing to do with each other, unless it is the pain near the site of operation wound or it is related with the condition that is being operated for it.
Maybe it is the chest pain and causing the difficulty in breathing, such condition demands the medical attention. It may need ECG and other cardiopulmonary test.
Also, it could be allergic condition that must be causing breathing difficulty. Anxiety, depression, could be the cause of pain and breathing difficulty.
