What Causes Unexplained Bruise On Hip Of A 5 Year Old?

My 5yr old son gets an unexplained bruise on his right hip every couple of months. I've had it checked out before and they said it was nothing but it has come back since then. One day it's not there and the next it is. Any idea of what this might be and should I be more concerned?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Unexplained bruising warrants thorough work up for bleeding disorders. But you say it appears and disappears in day or two..that is quite perplexing. I suggest you consult your paediatrician and get your kid worked up for bleeding disorder. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health.
