What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Bloating?
Hi there, I believe I'm having a gall bladder attack, and am wondering if there is anything I can take to help with the nausea? My upper abdomen is hurting, I feel bloated, and nauseous. I read that Epsom salt and water may help, is that a good option?
Hello, Thanks for using healthcaremagic., According to your clinical history you are having gastritis.Gall bladder problem is unlikely. Epsom salt act as a laxative and provide some symptomatic relief but it is not recommended because of adverse effects. Avoid spicy food, drink lot of waters. You can use bowel smoothners like gelusil. You can also use antacids,I suggest rantac 150 mg twicw a day. If symptom persists please consult a gastrenterologist or a GP for detailed evaluation. Hope this works.
