What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat?
I have been suffering from gastro problem quite often for the past 2-3 years. For the past 8-10 days it is severe. There is pain in the upper abdomen, chest, hands etc. Also there is a vomiting tendency and also seems something is stuck in the throat. I have been taking Nexpro Fast 40(once every morning) and Pankreoflat (twice after food) and also Liv 52 DS (one tablet twice daily) but not getting complete remedy. I have done LFT . The following are a bit high. bilirubin - 1.2 mg/dl, SGOT - 47 U/L, SGPT - 51 U/L, Alkaline phosphatase - 209 U/L. Please guide me about the situation and how i can get remedy from the problem.
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. Iam Dr.Amit Jain (DM, Gastroenterologist).
Increase in SGOT, SGPT and bilirubin has causes like viral hepatitis (Hepatitis B and C), NASH, and many other cause. So I will like to advise you to visit a hepatologist, who will investigate and treat accordingly.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any further query I will be happy to answer that too. Wish you a good health
