What Causes Urgency For Urination And Pink Discharge?

HI doc.My symptoms are, frequent urination with little urine, and a pink tinge to the tissue after wiping. I have a tendency to become dehydrated because I do not drink anything most of the day. I have started drinking water. Should I be headed for the doctor's office?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Urgency for urination is usually due to urinary tract infection. Associated pink discharge could be due to increase discharge along with blood.
2. Get an urine examination and a pap smear done. Do drink plenty of water.
3. Yes, you need to go to doctors office to get the test done. Based on results, appropriate antibiotics can be started.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
