What Causes Urgent And Forceful Bowel Movement After Completing A Meal?

If I walk around after having lunch or dinner that includes a salad, I feel an urgent need to have a bowel movement - which comes out quite forcefully. Once I have this BM, I am fine for the rest of the day. This has been happening for the past couple of months. At first, I dismissed it but now it s becoming more frequent.

It is very unusual to have these symptoms you have described. Since this has been happening since over two months, and the fact that is is getting worse, you must consult a gastroenterologist. The doctor would after physical examination advise relevant blood investigations and stools for routine and culture test. Doctor would also advise a colonoscopy examination, and once these have been done, a proper diagnosis can be made and treatment started. Please do not delay in consulting the doctor.
