What Causes Urine Leakage After Finishing Urination?

hey, thank you for taking my question. recently, I can not pee like usual. I mean, the stream is fine, and there is no pain or itch or any other symptom, until the end. I think i m done, wipe, pull up my pants, but while i m washing my hands, a bit more urine leaks out. that is the only time there is leakage. i m 54. female. very obese. post menopausal. btw, if I stay on the toilet and lean the remainder of the urine comes out. is this a uti? thank you.

Hello and welcome to HCM.
your symptom is called a post-urination or voiding dribble.
It's seen commonly in people, who don't empty their bladders completely.
There should be some cause for it.Usually seen in females, where the urinary tube or passage is narrowed for some reason.It's not a feature of urinary infection. You'll need to do a urine routine and culture test along with an Ultrasound scan, with bladder full, and a second scan soon after emptying your bladder.
