What Causes Urine To Smell Stale And Fishy?

hi, every morning and throughout the day my urine smells stale and very fishy to the point where i have to open windows in the bathroom. I have recently had thrush. I have had my urine tested and it comes up with nothing abnormal found. I have had antibiotics for this but a week later it comes back. I drink plenty of water and cranberry juice. Could BV cause my urine to smell like this. I am quite sexually active with my partner too. Thank you dawn

Hi,

The fishy smell can be due to dehydration, drugs you are taking
It can also be from UTI infections, lack of hygiene around sexual organs.
Underlying kidney and Liver problem can cause it.
Do one thing which is taking plenty of water and avoid drinking juice, stop sexual activity for a couple of weeks and ensure cleanliness of genitals.
You wait for one week if it doesn't clear then report to ER for further evaluation.
