What Causes Urine Turn White In Color With Pain?

Hi Doc, For the last year or so I've had a recurring problem with my urine. Every few weeks there are a couple of days when I urinate, towards the end of each instance my urine turns white and slightly painful. It looks like a mixture of chalk and water and can be quite painful if the chunks get stuck or don't come out cleanly. I can see the chunks line the basin and in the water. I'm having between 6-8 glasses of water everyday. For the last three days it's been particularly painful for me and i'm getting a little worried. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
Thanks for posting the query,

According to your symptoms i suppose that you are suffering from urinary tract infection.
A complete urine examination is required.
A course of higher antibiotics and analgesics can be prescribed after the results of the test.
Meanwhile you take plenty of fluids which are rich in vitamin C.

Take care!
