What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Anal Intercourse?

My husband and I had anal sex tonight. We noticed I was bleeding bright red blood out of my vigina hole. Why did this happen. It has never happened before. The blood stopped but it seemed like alot. I am close to ovulation today. Did he hit my cervix while we were having anal sex?

Hello,

As a first line management, you can try drugs like Tranexamic Acid to control bleeding.

If bleeding persists better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
