What Causes Vaginal Discharge And White Sore On Labia Minora?
Hi i have a small canker like white sore on the inside of in left labia minora. I am not sure what it is. I only noticed it yesterday though. It is white, a little swollen a little red but not that much. Me and my partner had been tested for HIV and syphilis which we both came back negative. I also had the flu for some time now since Wednesday, with alot of joint pain, etc. I am not recovering. I have been using some neosporin on it since yesterday and i think some of the swelling has gone down. I have also noticed that today i saw some thick white discharge, it has no smell or anything but i found it a bit unusual, however i know that i am suppose to have a period soon like maybe next week Wednesday or so.
You are having a small canker like white sore in the left minora. It is a little swollen. You are also having a vaginal discharge. You and your partner are suggested to get a repeat STD test done to rule out herpes or genital warts, etc. If positive you will be treated with antibiotics/ antivirals. You can take Acetaminophen or Combiflam, one SOS when needed to reduce pain and inflammation, swelling.
You can apply Zovirax ointment on the area affected for relieve. Your symptoms may be indicative of Bartholin's cyst. Get treated at the eeliest. It will be drained and antiseptic dressing done. It is treated with analgesics and antibiotics for 5-7 days. Do not touch, scratch or pick. Take care of your hygiene and avoid any sexual activity.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
