What Causes Vaginal Discharge, Slight Itching And Burning In Abdomen Post An Intercourse?
Hello, I have recent symptoms of a dark yellow discharge, slight burning, itching and have some lower abdomen pain with each bowel movement. I have not been sexual active within the last two years and have a recent partner and we used no protection. I am not sure if this may be a std, yeast infection or UTI infection?
Vaginal discharge, itching & burning are symptoms of infection. It looks like UTI, take care of your hygiene & avoid unprotected sex. Visit ER, get CBC, Urinalysis(R/E & C/S) & STD tests done. Such symptoms are indicative of Sexually transmitted infections. Ideally your partner should also get clinically examined & get all investigations done. In the meantime, you can take Clotrimazole vaginal cream to get rid of itching, do not scratch, stay away from addictions if any. Antibiotics ( Bactrim/Norfloxacin ) are effective. Your treatment will depend upon your diagnosis.
Take care.
