What Causes Vaginal Dryness, Itching, Discomfort And Soreness?

Hello, I had some concerns about down there. Last night I noticed I was very dry and itchy for about an hour or two. When I woke up I was still slightly itchy which quickly subsided, but was nothing near as bad as before. I also had discomfort from soreness. Around noon I went to the bathroom and noticed a small amount of white curd discharge. After that the only problems I have had was slight discomfort. The only thing I think it could be is a yeast infection. But I have never had problems with my area before so I am not exactly sure. I am in college so I was not sure who to talk to.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is due to hormonal imbalance.
As a first line management you can apply estrogen creams for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persists, better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
