What Causes Vaginal Irritation During Intercourse?

During sex recently, I noticed a burning irritation upon his entrance. I later checked this spot with my fingers, it feels like there is a slight bulge just inside vagina at the top of opening. . . . Is this an irritation? It also hurts when I touch it at all, automatic burn and pain. It seems fine once there is extra lubrication.

Hello,

Your symptoms might be due to dryness of vagina, infected Bartholin's cyst, ingrown hair or folliculitis, or vaginal inclusion cysts. Consult a gynecologist and get clinically examined in person to rule out any of the above and initiate appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
