Hello,
Vaginal itch is usually due to some vaginitis, be it allergic, bacterial or fungal. Since there is no discharge, a vaginal swab is helpful to know if there is any infection. The pill does not cause such symptoms. It is consequent to intercourse. The pill can cause breakthrough bleeding and a delayed period. Protection is very high when the pill is taken within the stipulated time. Please see a gynecologist for a complete clinical evaluation. Please use a regular contraception and restrict the use of emergency contraceptive pills to only once or twice a year. Hope this helps.
