What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Being On Depo Shots For 2 Years?
I ve been on the depo for almost 2 years. I had unprotected sex on September 6th. & for the past few days I ve experienced a small amount of bleeding when I wipe. & this morning on September 15th I was throwing up off and on all day. Could I be pregnant?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Spotting while on depo for 2 years may not be a side effect of the drug.Such side effects are common with those just starting.Pregnancy is a possibility since the efficiency is not 100% especially if not renewed in time.I will suggest you get a pregnancy test.If the test comes negative, you see the Doctor to investigate you for other causes like PID/STI, pelvic masses...You may need tests like STI work-ups and a pelvic ultrasound. Hope this will help Best regards
