What Causes Vaginal Spotting During Early Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, I took a home pregnancy test 3 weeks ago, which showed up positive. Had intercourse about a week ago, and notice some spotting a few days later , which seem to turn into light bleeding, which has lasted six days today and has not stoped, should I be concerned?

Hello,

It can be a threatened abortion. Consult gynaecologist at the earliest and get an ultrasound scan done. You might require progesterone pills to make your pregnancy stronger and healthier.

As of now drink plenty of water and take absolute bed rest.
