What Causes Varicose Veins?

i had started using sauna and jacuzzi after working out, and have noticed that green and varicouse viens come out in my legs.. Im female, 34 years old and consider my self healthy. Do you think taking a shower immediately with room temperature water cause of this green and varicouse viens?

Skin veins dilate and become prominent on taking a warm bath but they again constrict after sometime. On the other hand varicose veins appear on standing and remain there inspite of change in skin temperature
