What Causes Vision Blackness, Syncope, Dizziness With Weakness?

for the past five years this has been happening but more so recently. i can be sitting standing anything and my vision will go black for about 5 seconds and i will feel faint and dizzy sometimes i have to grab onto something to not fall. after my vision comes back i feel very weak. it also happens a lot when i am climbing stairs. it has happened about 4 times yesterday and 3 today. do you know what is causing this?
