What Causes Voice Hoarseness And Sore Throat With History Of Having Sinus Infection?

Hi. I am 28 years old and have partially lost my voice. It started this past Wednesday. Over a few hours it faded to where I could hardly make any sounds at all. It did start as a sore throat. Then I got some kind of stomach virus. 2 days after the virus went away I lost my voice. I can talk but my voice is very hoarse and cracks frequently. I do have a cough and a drip in my throat. I ve had many sinus infections in the past but only lost my voice once before this. That was only for a day. Any suggestions?

I really appreciate your concern, such hoarseness of voice is due to allergic condition here the best option is voice rest and along with this antihistamine would be advisable, and even much better to have PPI (Proton pump inhibitor) and best is "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
