Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...our 11 yr. old son had his adenoids removed last friday and his voice sounds pathetic.. it is hard to understand him when he talks because he sounds very whiny and nasal-ish. Is this normal and will he return to normal/

Speech problem may occur after removal of adenoids in children due to resonance issues. It may recover with in few months. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
