What Causes Vomiting After Having Flagyl?

My 10 month old baby diagnosed with amoebiasis. She was confined for six days at the hospital and after she was discharged, she was given take home medicine called flagyl, she always vomits every time she take the medicine even if I mixed it with jam and milk? What will I do?

Hi.. it happens because of metallic taste of flagyl. You can give it mixed with sugar or pour the medicine in the posterior part of tongue. If child vomits it out then you can repeat the dose if it happens within 15-20 minute after taking medicine.
