What Causes Vomiting After Taking Food?

hello dr, i am 35 yrs old, underwent surgery for ca oesophagus 8 yrs before..now for the past 2 wks, i have vomiting after taking food on and off.. 2 wks before i took iron tablets for my low haemoglobin level..i just stopped iron tablets due to vomiting.. what should i do now?

Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Nice to know that you were operated 8 years ago for cancer esophagus and got alright for such a long time, can say this is cured.
Yes, Iron induced the the problems to cause vomiting. Do not start Oral iron and if at all necessary take the iron by intramuscular or intra-venous route.
Take a PPI and Domperidone to control acidity related problems and vomiting. Since the details of surgery are not given, it is difficult for me to say how much stomach is remaining or not.
Consult your Doctor and the Surgeon for Endoscopy as a routine follow up so that you get more information of what exactly is going on.
