What Causes Vomiting Along With Excessive Sweating And Thirst In A Child?
I have a 12 year old son who has had chronic episodes of random vomiting for about 2 years. He has excessive sweating with little activity, constantly thirsty with little urine output. The pediatric office we see is finally very concerned. He weighed 150 lbs 6 weeks ago. At yesterdays visit they weighed him at 179 lbs they are extremely concerned and said they didn t want to alarm me but there is something very wrong. We went for a huge list of blood work and they want us to come back in a week to discuss the findings. I feel like they know what is wrong but wont tell me because they don t know for sure. What could this be

first we have to exclude diabetes and thyroid dysfunction...so if you can do fasting blood sugar level and TSH as soon as possible
