General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Both have food poisoning due to ingestion of some liquid or diet. Follow certain basic guidelines to get them better early.
• Allow plenty of liquids in the form of coconut water, only homemade juices, lemon juice
Soft diet at intervals
• Avoid all commercial products including oily, spicy, junk foods, and non-vegetarian items
• Watch for their playfulness, temperature, and urine output

In our clinic, we recommend to give antiemetics, antibiotics, and probiotics according to the need of the case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
