What Causes Vomiting And Nausea In A Child?

My 7 year old daughter has been nauseous and throwing up every night now for 5 days (nights) . She is totally fine during the day , no fever, no chills, no sick feeling until she starts getting ready for bed. Nothing traumatic has happened and many kids in her class have had a bug . Could it be just a bug or something else?

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think this is a bug.
When the symptoms are presenting only at night, the most probable diagnosis is Gastroesophageal reflux.
I suggest you discuss this with your kid's Pediatrician and get her evaluated and managed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
