hi.. doctor my father is met with an accident on 8th of jan 2011 he was hospitalised for 4-5 days after CT scan it was found that there are small hypodense non -enhancing area seen in the right fronto parietal and few bilateral periventricular regions.no e/o significant edema or mass effect is seen.present drugs are vertine 24,pan 40, ginkcocer, gravel half in the afternoon and half the night and gincocer is once aday i.e in the afternoon.but still in the morning he was feeling greediness and vomiting type and not feelong fresh.please tell me that wheather it is major problem or either what it is????
Hypodense non enhancing area may be infract and he may also have periventricular infracts. Please check it is fresh infract or old. Raised intracranial pressure or drug side effects may lead to vomiting.
Please control blood pressure, avoid fatty food and alcohol. Use antiplatelet and anti-hyperlipidemic drugs. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
