What Causes Vomiting In A Child After Hitting Head?

my child slammed her head into the footboard of my bed. I heard it but didn t see it. Her cousin was with her at the time. She never made a sound. I thought she would have screamed bloody murder. This was at 11:00am. At 10pm I heard her throwing up. Is this related or could it be that this is just a coincidence?
