What Causes Vomiting Of Thick And Brown Color Substance?

Hello, my name is lacey. I'm just abit concerned about my bf at the moment. He hasn't felt well since yesterday. And today he's vomited which is very thick and a browny yellow colour , also with blood in which he's never experienced before could you please give me some advice.
