What Causes Vomiting Of Yellow Stuff, Diarrhea And Burping?
My wife age 66 awoke with morhing has a sudden attack of vomiting and diaherriah. She had eaten nothing for the prior 10 hours. Most alarming is the brillliant yellow color to the eflux of vomit, although her stomach is nearly empty. Also copious burping. Is this more serious than just food poisoning?

Your concern being appreciated, It may not be the serious condition but it could be due to dyspepsia and it could be associate with hyperacidity vomiting, dehydration, fever, abdomen pain need to be taken care else it is the self limiting condition for couple of day care needs to be take or diet like avoid taking heavy meal, spicy food, for the vomiting Tab Domperidone 10 mg three times in day, it may not the food poisoning, if the diarrhea is continue then it can be managed with Tab Metronidazole 400 mg three times in day for three weeks with Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for five days hope this information helps.
