What Causes Vomiting Up Of Black Watery Substance?

30 female,nonsmoker/occasional drinker -not pregnant or on any medications. (vegetarian diet mostly with seafood) about a year ago i started having mild heartburn/reflux..then i got severely weak and couldn't hold anything down,went to the dr & was told i had food poisoning. i got a little better but then worse and went to the er, i was told i was dehydrated and had little to no potassium to my heart-. got a little better but then about a month later i would get real sick and uneasy feeling about 1-3am bout 5times over 2 weeks i would wake up and vomit at least 2 cups of this black watery substance leaving my upper right side miserable sore...then as strange as it came it went away...what could this have been?

Your query being appreciated, I have gone through the history given here, and in my opinion it could be acid peptic disease, (Hyperacidity), such illness needs long term treatment it needs to be treated for six weeks with the drug called PPI (Proton pump inhibitor ) and best molecules is Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 10 mg once in day at evening time only, avoid taking heavy meal, spicy meal, avoid coffee, smoking, prior to bed, if the case not being investigated differential diagnosis needs to be taken into consideration hope this information helps.
