What Causes Vomiting While Sleeping In A Child?

My son has vomited during sleep (waking him up) about 5 times in the past couple years. He never complains of nausea or feeling sick. He just vomits a couple times that night when it happens. We are almost certain it s not his food. He s 5 years & 4 months now. What may cause this? Thank you

This can happen due to gastritis episodes. If it's not persistent, then there is no need for any treatment. Just avoid spicy and oily foods at bedtime. Hopefully it will be of help. You may give syrup Digene during such episodes.
