Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
30 yr-old female, 5'5", 140lbs: no major medical history. On Tuesday evening I had a dinner of cream-based pasta, and felt ill afterwards. For the rest of the night all I had was a glass of ginger ale, and plenty of water. The next morning I woke up so nauseated I was afraid to move, and when I did manage to make it out of bed to vomit it was really thick, almost as though little to no digestion had taken place. I spent the rest of the day queasy, and the two bowel movements I had were also very dense- in spite of the fact that I was not dehydrated. Could this be a reaction to the food? Thanks.
