What Causes Vulval Pain Post Sexual Intercourse?

I have gone through my second treatment of the Mona Lisa Touch to rejuvenate the interior vaginal walls. It has helped quite a bit, still some pain, but not as much. After normal sex the other night, my Vulva has become quite red and raw. It has happened before, but this is the worst it has been. My husband thinks that I am allergic to his semen. if I am, wouldn t I have vaginal itching and rawness as well?

Hi,

Allergy to semen can be identified by using a condom during sex.

It can be due to
1.     Infection in the vagina can cause bleed itself or lead to dryness and cause bleeding
2.     Dryness – infection, improper foreplay, dehydration, age factor, hormonal imbalance
3.     Forceful sex
4.     Foreign bodies due to unhygienic sex method, sex toys,
5.     Eczema
6.     Deep penetration in few positions during sex.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
