What Causes Watery And Green Stools?

Hello Sir, my daughter is suffering from vomiting and loose motion for the last 4 days. vomiting is in control now. But the worry is that the stool is watery and green in color. Doctors have prescribed her Dolstam, neopeptine & zyncris. The color of the stool is my worry. Pls suggest

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your daughter having controlled loose stools but still green color and understood your concerns.
THe cause of the green stool may be an intestinal infection and since Dolstom, Neopeptine and Zyncris are not helping you should do the following in such a situation:
Get the stool test for routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity.
The blood tests.
Clinical evaluation by a Pediatrician and correlation with the reports.
A course of an antibiotic and metronidazole might help if the cause is bacterial diarrhea.
Also give probiotics, plenty of oral fluids and watch for the progress well.
