What Causes Watery Loose Stools In Child?

Hi, I have a 4.5 months old baby. He is having loose motions since last 2 days...I have got the stool test done and it is normal. Also, the quantity of the stool is very less ...with the water in the stool he normally has curd kind of thing.....i have started working again from the 1st September and from that date he takes feeding, powdered milk (1 - 2 times), banana and apple. Can you kindly guide me that whether this loose motions are very serious thing or its normal?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Watery stools at this age suggests that the baby may be suffering from Rota virus diarrhea.
This is self limited condition.
Usually disappears by 5-6 days.
Plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration and adequate feeding will do.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
