What Causes Watery Stools In Infants?

Hi My Daughter is 19 months and she is in full time daycare :( They always seem to complain that she has runny poos and gets sent home for it. She has had runny poop since she was born and I have asked my doctor on many occasions and I have been told it s normal. Daycare is telling me its not as none of the other kids are having them. I am starting to get concerned that something else is going on. We have tried to cut out certain food and this has not helped. Should I be worried, what should I do?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Viral infection causes watery diarrhea and is a self limited condition.
Plenty of fluids including ORS solution will prevent dehydration.
Diet need not be changed she can go with her usual diet.
Reflora-R sachetes orally with water may prevent frequency of motions.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
