What Causes Watery Vomit And Lethargy?

My son was throwing up food from ruby Tuesdays, has gradually went to clear watery vomit and now to more foamy looking. Anything to be concerned with as far as needing to be seen by Dr? He has no fever and doesn t seem to be in any pain, except when he throws up its hard on him, at times he seems lethargic.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think your son has lost lots of fluids and electrolytes with vomiting and not keeping food. This explains why he is lethargic.

I think you should see a doctor now as he has been vomiting since Tuesday. He might need intravenous fluid replacement therapy until vomiting is completely resolved.

Send to ER if you cannot manage to see his doctor as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
