Neurologist 's  Response
The weakness of limbs on the same side as where seizures/convulsions have recently occurred is referred to as a TODD'S PARALYSIS. This condition is self limited and will resolve itself over time. Strength should become normal. If, however, there is a persistent pain affecting one side or the other then, that needs to be looked at and worked up by a neurologist with something such as an MRI of the brain (with gadolinium contrast) in order to discover if there is a right hemispheric brain structure that may be suffering from some type of abnormality.
