What Causes Weakness And Rapid Heart Beat While Doing Interval Training?
i Have been working out with a personal trainer for 2 months we are doing interval training to loose weight also and build stamina but last time i worked out i warmed up 30 minutes and then started my interval training then my heart started beating so fast i couldnt recover as fast it took me like 10 15 minutes and i am out of breath i didn all kind of blood test and heart echo and they found nothing to relate to what happend to me also i was soo weak i couldnt move much tired jut general weakness what do u think happened to me
Dear patient, Howsoever much may you train, but it is body's normal mechanism to increase the heart beat and breath when the body exerts. To put it in simple words, when we are working out, the cells of the body need more oxygenated blood than when at rest. For this heart needs to pump more blood and lungs need to oxygenate more blood. Hence, the sympathetic system is activated and the heart beats faster and breathing gets harder. As in your case, proven by normal investigations, you do not need to worry. This recovery time of 10-15 mins will shorten very gradually, and you will eventually settle in 5 mins, but how much so ever you may train, you will always develop fast heart beats and heavy breathing, it is normal. Let it be so. Relax!
