Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hello
Thank you for writing to us on Health care Magic.
Based on your history the response to your question is as follows.
1. She is having anxiety attacks, which is causing her to react this way.
2. She needs counseling and she needs to be away from the stressful atmosphere.
3. She requires family support and if possible, a full time caretaker, to assist her in her medications, food and personal activities.
4. If it is continued with same atmosphere with inadequate care, her cognition will further deteriorate and sever dementia might require hospitalization. Present condition is not good, immediately support from family and involvement in social activities along with removal of stressors and regular medications is necessary.
Hope this is helpful to you.
